Head to Head with Medvedev: Will the former Russian President's 2023 predictions come true?

The rise of the 4th Reich, the break-up of America, the crash of the dollar, and more are among former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev's 2023 predictions.

Are his prophecies as "absurd" as AmeriKan mainstream media would have you believe? Here's what I think...(More below>>)

Pictured: Dmitry Medvedev.

Below are Medvedev's predictions for 2023 in BOLD text. Below each item, I've given my own prediction for the year ahead, and in particular for the USA:

1. Oil price will rise to $150 a barrel, and gas price will top $5.000 per 1.000 cubic meters

>>(Me): Don't hold your breath, Medvedev! While I do see the price per barrel peaking above $100/barrel perhaps as soon as April, followed by another smaller spike, these price hikes will be very short-lived. They will be followed by a complete collapse in oil/gas prices shortly thereafter throughout the middle of the year! (I mentioned this phenomena in a previous post, so check it out here).

However, as we near the end of 2023, I would expect to see the price per barrel increase to over $100 and go steadily higher and higher throughout 2024. (So, you might want to consider investing in oil/gas stocks when you see these lows this coming year because there will be a big pay-off in 2024).

2. The UK will rejoin the EU

>>(Me): Once again, while I appreciate the sentiment, the UK will NOT be rejoining the EU in 2023. Interestingly, I would say that the EU will have its hands full with another major country threatening to LEAVE the EU! I would venture to say that it will be France who leads the charge, although certainly, Italy has been threatening to leave for years.

Overall, the EU is on its last legs, and it's "every country for themselves" from this point forward, so expect much chaos and uncertainty when it comes to the future of the EU as overlords of this region.

3. The EU will collapse after the UK’s return; Euro will drop out of use as the former EU currency

>>(Me): Yes, as noted in #2 above, the EU is in the process of collapsing. However, like an infectious disease with no cure, the remnants of this institution (the euro, in particular) will continue to poison Europe's progress for several years (if not far longer) to come.

4. Poland and Hungary will occupy western regions of the formerly existing Ukraine

>>(Me): While I do believe that both Poland and Hungary would like to occupy Western Ukraine, I think it is far more likely that POLAND will do so, and even then, on a relatively small scale. Meanwhile, there are barriers to Hungary making moves on territory, pehaps by Russia itself, so I do not see Hungary settling into that area at all.

5. The Fourth Reich will be created, encompassing the territory of Germany and its satellites, i.e., Poland, the Baltic states, Czechia, Slovakia, the Kiev Republic, and other outcasts

>>(Me): It is a historical fact that Ukraine was a Nazi ally, and even today, they have many Nazi-aligned oligarchs with private armies who have been siphoning off weapons and money sent to that country by NATO and especially the USA.

These heavily armed forces will most certainly play a role in spreading terror throughout parts of Europe. HOWEVER, I do not see the Fourth Reich as widepsread or as influencial as Medvedev predicts, at least over the next 2 to three years. By 2027 (if not sooner), I would expect Russia to organize forces to nip any further expansion of these Nazi forces in Europe and in Northern Russia.

6. War will break out between France and the Fourth Reich. Europe will be divided, Poland repartitioned in the process

>>(Me): While I do not see France in a war with the Fourth Reich (a REAL entity, but not as powerful as the Russians would fear), they will play a role in influencing politics and politicians within the country of France.

Meanwhile in Poland, that country is about to have a complete political transformation, and I expect to see the signs of this beginning a 3-4 years process in 2023. But, I do not think it will be one wherein the Fourth Reich takes over, but rather, more of a nationalist/populist movement.

7. Northern Ireland will separate from the UK and join the Republic of Ireland

>>(Me): I think Medvedev's on to something here! I can definitely see this process beginning in 2023, but it will take several years (4 or more) for Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland to rejoin into an autonomous state. We'll keep an eye on this one...

8. Civil war will break out in the US, California. and Texas becoming independent states as a result. Texas and Mexico will form an allied state. Elon Musk’ll win the presidential election in a number of states which, after the new Civil War’s end, will have been given to the GOP

>>(Me): In several of my previous predictions, dating as far back as 2010, I pointed to the break-up of the USA into "nation states" as an inevitability. I even coined the name "Texifornia" for one of the more powerful of these. With the complete and utter corruption of the US's election system by the Democrats, and the outrage of states like Texas who claim that their say in elections has been usurped, it is fair to say that there will be an even bigger push-back by States like Montana, Texas, and Florida, among others.

With regards to Medvedev's predictions, first we must acknowledge that there is kind of a cultural civil war in the USA going on as we speak. There are also many legal "wars" and initiatives by powerful state Governors to regain/retain State sovereignty on many levels. However, I do not expect a full break-away from a united union until 2026-2027, which would follow the collapse of the US economy, banking system and currency in 2026 (as I have predicted previously).

(I'm going to do a full report on the timeline and events to watch for, so stay tuned for that.)

With regards to Elon Musk being elected President of Texifornia, I just don't see that happening, but not for lack of trying! I would agree with Medvedev that Musk does have these types of ambitions, but just way to many road blocks standing in his way.

And, I don't see any kind of unusual "alliance" forming in the near future between Texas and Mexico as Medvedev predicts.

9. All the largest stock markets and financial activity will leave the US and Europe and move to Asia

>>(Me): Medvedev is right to a certain extent on this one. Much economic activity of this sort is being drained out of the USA, but I do not expect Europe and Asia to surpass the US (for long, anyway). And, after the 2026 collapse of the US economy that I've outlined in a previous post, states will re-organize and decentralize the current financial system, which means taking away much of Wall Street's (and Europe's) central power and putting it closer to the hands of the people. In doing so, the US financial system will regain its footing, but I do not expect that it would have the global dominance that its enjoyed in the past. (Good riddance!)

10. The Bretton Woods system of monetary management will collapse, leading to the IMF and World Bank crash. Euro and Dollar will stop circulating as the global reserve currencies. Digital fiat currencies will be actively used instead

>>(Me): Hard to argue with this one, because it's already underway. The IMF and World Bank need to go, and so they will, but as with a sinking ship, expect to see swarms of rats spreading their plague to any kind of dry ground that they can. Battling these Nazis will be an ongoing concern.

So, that about does it. Expect to see more information and updated predictions on several items above coming soon.

In the meantime, Happy New Year!
